CANNES FAQ
What is the name of the music that is played before each film is screened?
Last Updated 24 Feb 2020
All of the films shown in the official programme are preceded by the Festival de Cannes trailer. The track used on this trailer is called "Aquarium" and it comes from a classical work called Le Carnaval des Animaux ("The Carnival of Animals"), written in 1886 by French composer Camille Saint-Saëns.
Thanks to Christina Orow for tracking this down.
