American Pavilion changes for 2010

Since 2005 the American Pavilion in Cannes has been a members-only affair. Membership is open to all Cannes attendees, regardless of nationality, but you also need to have festival accreditation because the venue is located with the Village International area.
The current membership fees are:
- $50 Early Registration (March 1 through April 9)
- $65 Pre-Cannes Registration (April 10 through May 11)
- $100 On-site Registration (May 12 through May 23)
These represent significant hikes in relation to the original membership fee of $25.00.
Membership benefits include:
- Bar and café service
- Free wifi and computer access for those without laptops
- Business services, including laser printing, photocopying, and fax
- Access to The Pavilion Conference Centre events (which have included high-profile panels and speaker events in the past)
- A members' mailing list service for parties and other events
The pavilion is open 8am-6pm daily. Evening events also take place, but are normally guest list only.
